The "Office"

Due to circumstances that are out of our control, we have decided to move my home office/sewing room. Was this a hard decision for me?? Yes and No. Yes, because it is the "corner" office and has the best view besides the master bedroom in the whole house and No, because it is the best interest of others (and that's the Christian way - to do what is best for others).

This room served a multi-purpose room before the project started ... including a play room for the grandkids, exercise room, homeschool supplies and storage, in general.

As you can see by the photos, this project is a huge undertaking ... First, everything was cleared out of the room - toys were put in the downstairs family room (for use at a later date - that's another project!), homeschool supplies were also put in the "new" classroom and of course, there was a lot of miscellaneous (some was thrown out and others was sorted into bins).

After removal of all the items, my husband decided that we should re-do the hardwood floors. It made sense, if you're going to do something ... do it right!

Removal of all the items took a whole day (without a doubt) because I made sure things were sorted and put away so we wouldn't have to undertake that project again ....

Stay tuned ... we have many more photos to come - "during" photos and hopefully soon, some "after" photos too.
